Espresso This I dare ya! [4.5/5]

Why: Killenso Natural is out of stock, experimentation.

No kidding, I really did make this as an Espresso. It is quite mild and light, not as acidic and tolerant of an aggressive, finely ground extraction as far as filter roasts go. Don't expect tiger stripes. (Disclaimer: You need good equipment to do this.) Very notable is the Orange & Peach flavor notes with a sweet but mild finish.

Problems encountered while calibrating : blending of flavors(tradeoff) , bitterness(easily resolved), and a large headspace between the grouphead and the puck (It's a dense bean) causing a bit more unreliable extraction.

Weird

Very interesting cup. You can definitely taste the orange flavor notes, however it's so prominent that it starts to turn bitter to an extent. I feel like this is also due to the citrus flavor notes. I recommend either a Kalita or a Origami for this.
